Pricing & fees
When is the fee charged?
Upfront when you publish a listing. Each unit then stays active for 30 days from its own activation date.
How is my volume tier determined?
By your total paid units over time — not per listing, and not just what's currently live. A bedsitter block of 6 units plus a 1-bedroom block of 5 units counts as 11 units, landing you in the 10–19 tier. Once you reach a tier, you keep it — your rate never goes back up, even if listings later expire.
Can I get a refund?
Listing fees are non-refundable once a listing goes live. Contact support if you have an issue.
Do different property types get different rates?
The tier rate is shared across all your property types and based on your combined unit count. Each type still pays based on its own rent — except units renting at KSh 100,000+, which always use a flat 1.5% rate capped at KSh 2,500/unit, regardless of your tier.
What's the Starter plan rate?
Starter plan owners get their first 3 units free, then a flat 1.5% rate on standard rent afterward — no volume tiers to track. High-rent units (KSh 100,000+) still use the same capped premium rate as everyone else.
Payments & account
What happens after 30 days?
Each unit's listing expires automatically 30 days after it went live. You'll be notified and can relist it — topping up units, if any, is billed only for the increase.
What payment methods are accepted?
M-Pesa and card payments via Paystack. STK push is supported — no need to open the app.
Do Meneja SaaS users pay anything?
Growth, Premium, Agency Starter and Agency Enterprise subscribers list for free — no listing fee at all. Starter plan subscribers get 3 free units, then a flat 1.5% rate.
